vFXT for Cloud Bursting & Cloud NAS

The Virtual FXT (vFXT) Edge filers act as network-attached storage (NAS) in the compute cloud, freeing your data to be stored anywhere, while giving you complete functionality. The vFXT works to:

  • Connect your on-premises storage (NFS and SMB) to cloud compute resources (Cloud Bursting), or
  • Build a NAS for the cloud, optimizing the use of public cloud storage with its cloud compute conterpart (Cloud NAS), or
  • Build both Cloud Bursting and Cloud NAS into a flexible enterprise hybrid infrastructure
  • Support a pay-as-you-go model with hourly, monthly or annual pricing
